Standard for the Express trim is a 5.7-liter V8 with 395 hp and 407 lb-ft. matched with an automatic transmission. Fuel economy for a 2WD Ram 1500 with the V8 stands at 14/city 20/hwy and 16 mpg combined. Properly equipped, a Ram 1500 V8 can tow up to 10, 450 lbs.
