The Top-of-the-Line 3.5 SL gets a sunroof, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, heated front seats, air vents for the rear seats, automatic headlights, cruise control, keyless ignition/entry, a power front passenger seat, ambient interior lighting and a premium Bose nine-speaker sound system, a Homelink garage door opener, 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, shift paddles, front and rear parking sensors, a larger 7-inch color touchscreen, voice commands, smartphone app integration, and a navigation system with Google connectivity.
The 3.5-liter V6 engine offers a sport-tuned suspension, and is good for 270 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque that can propel the Altima to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds. Fuel economy estimates come in at 26 mpg combined (22 city/32 highway). These estimates are very good for a midsize sedan.
The 2016 Altima has excellent safety scores.
