The Enclave Leather features 19-inch premium wheels, a blind-spot warning system, cross traffic alert, leather upholstery, heated front seats, automatic headlights, rear privacy glass, a power liftgate, heated mirrors, rear parking sensors, remote ignition, cruise control, tri-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver seat (plus lumbar), a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, OnStar telematics, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, Buick's IntelliLink electronics interface (which includes voice control and smartphone integration), dual USB charge ports, and navigation and a premium 10-speaker BOSE AM/FM/CD/Mp3 surround-sound system.
The 2014 Buick Enclave has a V6 engine that generates 288 horsepower. The Enclave gets an EPA-estimated 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway, which is typical for a midsize SUV. The Enclave offers a smooth – but not overly soft – ride. Maximum towing capacity when properly equipped is 4,500 pounds.
Occupant protection comes from seven airbags, including 3-row head curtains and GM’s OnStar telematics. The new, front center-side airbag — an industry first — protects the driver and passenger from bumping into each other in a side impact. The Enclave is also equipped with ABS, traction control and stability control. Blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning also improve safety.
